Our verdict

FundedNext offers a lower Phase 1 target than FTMO (8% vs 10%), no time limit, and a reward share from the challenge phase for eligible traders. It suits forex and CFD traders who want a familiar two-step structure at a slightly lower price — as long as they read the reward-cycle options carefully.

Overview

FundedNext is one of the largest forex and CFD prop firms, offering several programs: Stellar 2-Step, Stellar 1-Step, Stellar Lite and Stellar Instant. This review focuses on the Stellar 2-Step, the program most comparable to FTMO’s classic challenge.

On a $100,000 account, that is an $8,000 Phase 1 target, a $5,000 daily limit and a fixed $90,000 floor. News trading and holding over the weekend are allowed.

Rewards and profit split

FundedNext pays 80% on the standard 21-day reward cycle. Faster on-demand rewards, the scale-up plan and paid add-ons can raise the share to 90% or 95%. Eligible non-US traders also receive a 15% reward on profits made during the challenge phases, paid after they are funded. Read the cycle options before choosing — the cheapest checkout isn’t always the best split for how often you want to withdraw.

Sizing for a 5% daily limit

With a $5,000 daily limit on $100K, risking 1% ($1,000) per trade lets you take four losses in a day and still keep a $1,000 buffer for spread and slippage. Use the position size calculator to turn that into lots, and test your stats with the FundedNext preset in the challenge simulator.

Who it suits

Forex and CFD traders who like the two-step model and want a slightly easier Phase 1 target, no time pressure and freedom to hold through news. Read FTMO vs FundedNext, or compare all firms on our prop firm comparison.
