TradeLocker Brokers — How the Platform Works and Who Offers It

What TradeLocker is, how its free demo and broker hub work, which brokers offer it, and how to check a TradeLocker broker's regulation, funding and costs before you deposit.

TradeLocker is a trading platform you reach through a broker or prop firm. It has grown quickly since its debut in 2023 — the company reports more than 60 partner brokers and prop firms — and in May 2026 it opened a free $100,000 demo to anyone, without a broker account. If you like the platform and want to trade live, the next decision is which broker to use, and that decision matters far more than the platform itself.

What TradeLocker is

  • Platform, not broker. TradeLocker supplies the trading software. Your deposit, your trades and any investor protection sit with the broker.
  • Ownership. TradeLocker is based in Dublin and owned by Deus X Capital, according to Finance Magnates.
  • The Hub. A comparison layer where you can look at partner brokers and prop firms, their fees and spreads before connecting.
  • Free demo. Open to every trader since May 2026, with $100,000 of virtual funds.

How to choose a TradeLocker broker

  1. Check the licence first. Look the broker up on the regulator’s own register — FCA, ASIC, CySEC or similar — and confirm which entity your account will sit with. A company registration in an offshore jurisdiction is not a financial licence.
  2. Check how you deposit and withdraw. Card and bank transfers can sometimes be disputed; crypto transfers generally cannot.
  3. Compare all-in costs. Spread plus commission per lot on the instruments you trade. A flat commission only helps if spreads are tight too.
  4. Test a withdrawal early. Start small and withdraw part of it before you scale up.
  5. Size every trade. Use the position size calculator so a single loss stays small whichever broker you choose.

Our take

TradeLocker is worth trying on the free demo. For a live account, a broker regulated by a major authority — Eightcap was the first major regulated broker to add TradeLocker — gives you protections an offshore broker cannot. If you choose an offshore broker for crypto funding or a low minimum, read our ClarityFX partner listing to understand the trade-offs, and compare regulated options on our broker comparison.

Frequently asked questions

What is TradeLocker?

TradeLocker is a trading platform used by brokers and prop firms, based in Dublin and owned by Deus X Capital. You trade through a broker or prop firm that offers it, and its Hub lets you compare those partners before you connect.

Is TradeLocker a broker?

No. TradeLocker provides the platform; your account, your money and the rules that protect it sit with the broker you choose. That is why the broker's regulation matters more than the platform.

Does TradeLocker have a free demo?

Yes. Since May 2026 any trader can open a TradeLocker demo with $100,000 in virtual funds without first signing up with a partner broker or prop firm, according to Finance Magnates.

Which regulated brokers offer TradeLocker?

Eightcap, which is regulated in Australia, the UK and Cyprus, added TradeLocker in early 2026. Most of TradeLocker's other partners are prop firms or offshore CFD brokers, so check each broker's licence on the regulator's own register.
